Nintendo has declared the first brand new Switch Lite shade as the portable-only console started last fall. The new color is “coral,” possibly belatedly motivated by Pantone’s choice to title “Living Coral” that the Color of the Year for 2019. Or possibly Nintendo needs it outside in time to get cherry blossom year.
Coral combines turquoise, gray, and yellow in the normal lineup. It’ll be accessible in Japan on March 20th, with preorders beginning on March 7th. Notably, that the initiation of the new system does not seem to have been influenced from the coronavirus outbreak, unlike the forthcoming Animal Crossing-themed Switch.
The coral Switch Lite maintains the exact same cost of 19,980 yen ($182).
