Passing variables from HTML to Flash CS3

In HTML:

<embed src="http://www.flepstudio.org/forum/tutorials/test.swf" flashvars="variable1=test1&variable2=test2&variable3=test3">

In Flash:
You just create 3 text objects, and named them as:
'text_object1', 'text_object2', and 'text_object3'
and put the code mentioned above.

The results :
'text_obect1' will results 'test1'
'text_obect2' will results 'test2'
'text_obect3' will results 'test3'

Hi,

How do you expand this idea to pass the variables from a URL to your Flash movie?
For example if your movie was on a web page, like this:
http://www.website.com/webpage.html?...ariable3=test3

or using the attached example:
http://www.website.com/webpage.html?id=1

Hi Flep, I wrote you a personal message, but then realized the post should have been right here.

Lets say you have an html page which is communicating with the php files to return a .wav file.

The link to the wav file ends up in a (Table) and it is just a standard link... but is being placed there by the PHP file.

How would you return the value of the .wav? or does it HAVE to be an mp3?
