FlepStudio has created a new free utility with Actionscript 3.0 and Flash.

It 's a Flash map of Europe.

This map shows all the states in Europe and every state is selectable.

From external XML file, you can configure several options:

all colors of the map, all the colors of mouse states, nations toggle, add affiliates for each nation and every nation has a its destination url.

Requirements

Flash CS3 o superiore per MAC o Windows

Flash Player 9.

Included files

• main.fla


• package com/flepstudio


• package caurina


• XML/config.xml

Actionscript variables

• Main.as: CONFIG_XML ( if needed change the value with the absolute url or path that points your config.xml file )


• Main.as: FPS ( framerate's speed)

XML variables

• bg_color ( background color)


• disable_state_color ( disable country color )


• active_state_color ( enable country color )


• selected_state_color ( color selected country )


• tooltip_bg_color ( tooltip background color )


• tooltip_text_color ( tooltip text color)


• target_links ( links target )

Also, each country has its own attributes

• link ( absolute url )


• active ( enable or disable country )


• clip ( do not modify, it's the istance name of the MovieClip )

Each country might have several affiliates.

Installation

• Open main.fla and com/flepstudio/Main.as and if needed change the CONFIG_XML variable with abosulte url or path that points at config.xml


• Re-create main.swf from main.fla


• Upload main.swf and xml/config.xml.

Other customizations

• You can manage all the rest by working on the MovieClips in main.fla library.

hi, guys you have missed 3 countries in Europe:
Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia :)

can you re do them?
Officially these countries are in Europe.

one more thing:
you missed a huge Russian territory of Konigsberg (inside the territory of Poland), Faroe Islands, Lichtenstein, Andorra, Girbaltar and the Turkish Cyprus :)
