flashcs3 Xmas header

FlepStudio has created a new free utility for Flash CS3/CS4 and Actionscript 3.0.

This is a header with Christmas style.

It can display snow effect or moving gifts and other animations.

Everything is configurable from an external XML file.

Included files

• main.fla


• package org/FlepStudio: Main.as,Gifts.as,Snow.as


• package xml/settings.xml

Features

• choose between 4 effects: gifts or snow
  or none or both


• choose right bow, left bow, both bows or none bows


• easy XML management

Actionscript variables

• Main.as: XML_URL ( IF NEEDED: CHANGE ABSOLUTE URL OR PATH THAT POINTS TO xml/settings.xml file )

XML variables

• aimation options: gifts or snow or none or both


• bows options: left or right or both or none

Installation

1. Open main.fla and org/FlepStudio/Main.as and if needed change the XML_URL variable with abosulte url or path that points at settings.xml file at line 22.


2. Open xml/settings.xml file and choose your options.


3. Re-create main.swf from main.fla


4. Upload main.swf and xml/settings.xml.

Other customizations

You can manage all the rest by working on the MovieClips in main.fla library.

I really like it thanks for sharing but am unable to use I download and when I open it it shows to the left of the screen and I could only see the last 4 words in christmas!hmmm bommer if you could help I would appreciate if not then thanks

I am having this problem by testing on my local and at the online server:

Per favore, qui cosi devo fare ? How to fix abolute paths within Flash ?

All my files are under the same path as yours: XmasHeader/etc
I´ve used the form: ./, ../ and so on... nothing !
