FlepStudio has created a new free utility for Flash CS3 and CS4.

It's a combo of header and menu.


It's the PRO version of Combo Menu Header

I added submenus, XML driven.

Installation

open org/FlepStudio/Main.as and if needed change the url that point to XML file

check the "imagesFolder" attribute of XML file, the url must point your images folder

republish the SWF by FLA

Just a question: I would like to use your ComboMenuHeader on my first website page and when we click on one of the ComboMenuHeader's button, to go direct on a page where we have your reflect gallery...
First question: Is it possible or ComboMenuHeader's buttons are only here to go on a "http://www." page ?
Last question: If it's possible, how do i do ? Is is possible to put the first "Main.as" in the second ?

I learn quickly from your examples. Still, I cannot see where to modify the font face and size for the menu buttons. Why am I so blind?

I have a question, but I don't see a response to the other questions, so I'm either missing something, or my questions won't be heard.

I want to create a site that is all Flash/xml. In this example, every link goes to a different html page. I would like to load different swfs to the content area below so that, once loaded, the menu is never reloaded. Would this be accomplished by calling a function instead of a url?

Hello,

Figured out how to fit longer text into a button (I only have 3 main buttons):

item_mc.label_mc.field_txt.autoSize = TextFieldAutoSize.CENTER;

Would you consider a tutorial using your Combo Menu Header showing how you would code AS3 for a site having 4 or 5 pages, each page having a different layout. I do this now, but woyld like to see how a really good AS3 writer would write such.
