I was wondering if anyone knows what php file contains the limits for the length of text saved to the xml in from the "add comment" text field. I'd like to extend this amount to about double what it is. If you know which file and what value to change please let me know. I'm working on my thesis and I need a simple utility like this to execute one of the main pieces to my thesis' workings.

hi, first of all, great code, thank you!

I have some problems with chinese message_txt though, the traditional chinese characters I typed in doesn't show in message_txt, but strangely name_txt can display chinese characters. I have tried to browse through the code, but couldn't tell difference between them. All the characters in mysql, and xml are fine too, all in UTF-8.

First off thanks for the code and the instructions very easy to get it implemented. I have a question regarding resizing the background and the flash document. I currently see that it is set to 1000 x 650. I need to resize it to fit in a smaller size area 860 x 518 but when I try to reset these I am unable to adjust positioning of the rest of the elements and they move off the background area. Is there a specific place I can make this change? thanks for your help in advance. I'm still very new to the coding side of flash.

Too may messages

At the moment I have solved by displaying messages from n° 300

I'm sorry I didn't understand that last message? N 300? Is there a way to drop the swf into and area smaller than 1000 x 650 and have it display correctly?

I think the problem is that 500+ messages reach the maximum limit of height inside an SWF area.

Also, if we increase the stage area that displays the messages we'll got the same issue.
At the moment the only thing is to say to Flash to load the last 300 messages.

I will fix this issue with a new way of displaying messages.

Is there a way just to have a user click a submit button instead of dragging the message to the box?
