Flash RSS reader

Im new here.

Why can`t i open te following feed: DJBroadcast, i put it at line 22 in the main.as but the swf stays black?

Your feed ( Flash CS3 and Flash CS4 tutorials ) is working great.

the utility works fine but i have 2 question:

1)if i load this utility with loadmovie in another swf at the same location...this doesn't load RSS!!!

2)whi fp9 is required? with fp8 no way?

is this working for anyone? I did was was required and it generates no errors in the output panel. Once uploaded to my server it doesn't do anything.

same here it doesn't do anything when i upload it to the server. Its just blank although i tried with the same url feed as given and gave correct path for rss.php but did no wonders to me,,can anyone please help me with this.Please check this link

I have everything working except the auto scroll
.
When I post the auto scroll code in Main.as and export I get these errors

1084: Syntax error: expecting semicolon before rightparen. for(var i:int=0;i0)
1084: Syntax error: expecting rightparen before semicolon. items_container_mc.addChild(items_array[j]);
1013: The private attribute may be used only on class property definitions. private function addMovement():void
1013: The private attribute may be used only on class property definitions. private function moveItems(evt:Event):void
1013: The private attribute may be used only on class property definitions. private function onReadOver(evt:MouseEvent):void
1013: The private attribute may be used only on class property definitions. private function onReadOut(evt:MouseEvent):void

I tried fixing the errors but gave up and went back to the original Main.as

What changes do I make to get it to automatically scroll and can it loop?

Re-copy it now, it should work correctly.

Now I don't have any errors but it is also not automatically scrolling.

When it loads should it start scrolling?

What I am trying to accomplish is to have the news stories loop by scrolling slowly and repeating. Like a news ticker.

Could I use something like Advanced Flash Components

Can you help me with that? I am stumped.

I was wondering if there is a way to make it so that the RSS Feed Refresh every min. I'm not sure if its possible or now.
