Illusion - images gallery

FlepStudio has created a new free utility (see also the list of all the free utilities published by FlepStudio) for you dear users who follow this website.

Indeed I would like to take opportunity to thank you for your participation at this website.

This new utility is a gallery ( 100% display ) with reflection effect on thumbnails and on images.

Added a horizontal scroll according to the position of the mouse.

It reads from an XML file: title, date and description of each image.

Easy to configure.

I advice to keep all the same size of images to get a good result visual.

Installation

- Open file org/FlepStudio/Illusion/Main.as and at line 21 be sure the path or absolute url that points to set_up.xml file is correct.

- Open file set_up.xml and define at line 2 the name of the folder ( path or absolute url) in which the images reside.

- Re-create main.swf

Hi Flep,

I've tried to install the Illusion.zip file but it keeps coming up with an error:
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temp\Illusion.zip: Unexpected end of archive

This is great, but I am having issues positioning flash on the website. The top 10% of the photo gets cut off?? Any suggestions???

Ciao, it depends how you are trying to position it.
From the fla, the options are at 100% in rapport to the browser's windows.

I'm brand new to the site and pretty new to flash. I'm trying to figure out how I can alter the sweet image viewer that you guys made. I want to take out the reflection, the background and maybe even resize the height of the images. I'm not exactly sure where to begin, but I'm a fast learner. If someone is willing to point me in the right direction, I think I'd be able to go on my own for a little bit. Thanks!

Does anyone know how you display a swf, f4v, of flv in this application? And this is a killer tool thank you so much!
