Email form with pictures - Flash CS3 and PHP

It might work on a PHP 5 server. I've tried running it on two different PHP 4 servers and it doesn't work. My only guess is it has to do with the server's security settings and not the version of PHP it's running.

But, unfortunately, although I have tried so many times as the tutorial said, it is still not working. It always stop at the loading step. I don't know why and I wonder if somebody can tell me what the problem might be.

Hi, i got to say thanks for this script, its very useful and it got the features that i couldnt find with a lot of others scripts (even commercial).

I found in this forum people that couldnt get it work, even when i start i couldn understand some failures. But, with a little trial/error i found some things that could make everyone to get this awesome script work.

I couldn find the reason in the Actions code, because every entry is treated like TEXT, but for any reason, maybe the PHP handling, the output is getting some garbage that stuck the form. All this errors where posted here by other users.

Here it is what i found:
If you INPUT numbers where should be TEXT, the form doesnt work. This means, you put "elangel666" in NAME, and gets stucked.

The same with TEXT where the input should be numeric, like PHONE.

Finally, when you select a picture with carchters like ( ) or -_ as a part of the name, like pic1(weekend).jpg or pic_1.jpg and pic-1.jpg, the uploading process wont start.

If you avoid all this, the script works ok. Uploads and sends email.

A final thing. When you get your pictures uploaded and the email is sent, if you upload a pic with a space into the name, like pic 1.jpg , when the email is sent the link becomes corrupted, because it will rip off everything after this space, soy you will get a link like htttp://www.yoursite.com/form/php/uploadedPics/pic 1.jpg

I hope this help you with the re-coding and we get the "Final Version" working for all.
