Thanks Flep - Nice work! But I'm having a bit of a problem with it and maybe you can help. I'm using XP Pro, Flash and DW CS3, CF9.1.0 and hmailserver. When I send an email from the form it goes to my CF "Undelivered mail and stays there. I can't figure out why it's doing that. Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions? Any help is much appreciated, Thanks. If you've got questions I'll answer 'em as best I can.

Re: Email form Flash CS3 and ColdFusion 8

I'd like to add that the error I'm getting is "Exception reading response". I have my pop up page built and it works just like I want it to. Also I found this -
Sending an Email through GMail With ColdFusion and it works although there is no Flash or AS3 involved. It just sends an email directly from DW. The only difference I can see is the "mailtimeout" tag and I wonder if there's something there that would be causing my problem. I don't know enough AS3 to be able to "play" with it so I'm sort of stuck here. I've searched through the Adobe site but can't find anything that would fix my problem but I'm still looking ...

I got it - finally. Not sure what the problem was but putting it on a real web server solved the problem. My rendition of it can be seen at Cabin Rental Prescott Michigan (click the red E-Mail Me button at the top of the page). It doesn't send e-mail to me so it's just an example of what can be done with it. Thanks Filippo - Nice job!
