Hello all,

Thank you for releasing this beautiful flash poll. :)

I have one small newbie question, which is - what is the best way to change the position of the elements? When I am looking at the main.fla file in Flash, I can only seem to move the position of the overall poll elements, and the position of the "You have already voted..." text.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thank you for sharing you knowledge . Your tutorials and files are fantastic! I have a couple of questions:

1. I want to use the poll-system in a prodject. How do I externally load iit into a new file (swf).
2. How do I change the possitions of the radiobuttons? (maybe how do I possition the external loaded file?)
3. I also want to use the shoutbox tha you made. How can I load that into a new file (swf) and at the same time possition it?

I hope you or someone else are able to answer me. I'm verry new to cs3 so I'm sorry if the questions might be fundamental

Hi guys,

This poll doesn´t work for me.. I have changed the right paths to all necessary files and the permissions while uploading them to server but still it´s not working.. I try to load the main.swf file with UILoader on my project..

As I test the .swf file some error appears

Error #2044: Unhandled ioError:. text=Error #2032: Stream Error. URL: file:///H:Documents and SettingsAdminMy Documentslash_tyon_allawebsitepoll.xml?cachebuster=12228534 09921
at LoadingXML/::loadXML()
at LoadingXML$iinit()
at Main/::init()

But I guess this is normal?

So can you help me with all this?

you must use an absolute url that points to XML file.
Otherwise, if you want try it at local, use path:
file.xml
with no cachebuster.

public function LoadingXML(fla:MovieClip)

Ciao,

as Flep told you, change the url to the xml file in LoadingXML.as.

fileName.xml if in local (with no cachebuster) or type http://www.mysite.com/fileName.xml once online.
