Thanks
hey !
FlepStudio has created a new FREE Flash CS3 component !
It's a smooth ScrollBar with a light inertial effect during the scroll.
Very useful, it permits you to mask and scroll a MovieClip you have on the Flash stage.
Just assign in properties panel the instance name of the MovieClip you want use the ScrolBar with.
Also, you can pick a color of the handler.

Thanks
IMPORTANT
Keep the registration point of the MovieClip you associate to the ScrollBar at left top
I know this probably sounds picky, but if you scroll the tab to the bottom of the scroller pane, there's a hairline white line at the bottom of the scroll area background box. There isn't one at the top though when the scrollbar is loaded. Is there any way to fix that?
How can i change the height of the mask because my textfield is larger and i want the scrollbar and the mask to be the same size as my field?
Sorry for my confusing explanation :). for example the component masks a height like 300, so my visible tekst will also be 300. But i want a larger visible area. So i want to set the height of the visible area. I thought i could resize the component so its aumatically makes the mask and scrollbar larger but that isn't the case?
Do you understand what i mean Flep![]()
ok now i understand
At the moment you can't set the height of the ScrollBar.
uhm. oke thanks for your reply Flep, do you think you can build this feature in some time?
