MailForm Flash CS3 component by FlepStudio [ FREE ]

Its a nice component thanx for the download, although i was wondering if it is possible to skin this component and change the font type. Also I was not sure if i was suppose to alter anything in the php file because i keep getting an error message (i am yet to upload to website). Please let me know if i have missed sumthing.

I can't get the component to appear in the components panel... running CS3 with extension manager 1.8

Any ideas???

you have to make sure you are running an Action Script 3 file. i had the same problem when I was trying to apply the component to an old AS2 site i was working on. try opening a new fla document and make sure it is in Action Script 3, you should see it right away.

Buon Giorno Flep,

I am very grateful for all the help and tutorials you graciously provide without even asking for a profit!!! I'm just starting to understand how flash works. I have tried your Email Component only to learn that it is not sending it to my Inbox. Should the form work in Publish Preview ? Or do I need to actually uploaded to the hosting server? I did change the email address and saved the php script in the same folder as the fla file?
I understand and learn many things, however php or the from to mail is not one of them.

Hi,
chmod means you have to set permisions of the PHP file to 777.
Anyway it should work also if you do not chmod it.

I allready try like that but still doesn't work
i dont think i manshion that i have problems with the picture mailform,
the simple emailme form its working good so im thankfull for that
