Actionscript 3 Help skipping frames

Need Help on a simple command.

I just need to be able to skip 5 frames into the movie (multiple times) and be able to go 5 frames back (multiple times as well) using 2 buttons, previous and next.

I usually just use command (nextFrame) but I need to play a transition now, and nextFrame won't work. I'm just wondering how I would go about doing that, or something similar.

I'm not sure how to edit my post so I'm doing a reply. Still haven't figured it out.

Right now I have 15 images. I want to make transitions for them. So I need to be able to go back and forth between images but also play the transitions along with them. Thats why I thought I could make some transitions and then just play 5 frames and stop. The problem is that I cant get my movie to play and then stop at 5 frames it just plays or plays one frame. So (nextFrame) doesn't work. Please help with any info :)
