flash swf and its xml insert in joomla

Hi,
I want to insert a swf in my joomla frontpage. The swf it comes with a xml file. I tried before images and swf without problem but now I can't do the insert.
I kept the swf and the xml in the same folder, I used the tool to embed animations in an article to test and I copied the url to be safe...but not working at all. Curiously when I click over the white page is informing me about flash player...

I'll very thankful if you have some light in this issue

thanks

Goodmorning,

never done it as part of an article but as flash header. The only problem I encountered is that the js file used to embed the swf needed to be in the include folder.
In any case did you use absolute url as path to the swf and also for the xml?

Re: flash swf and its xml insert in joomla

Hello Onsitus, thanks for your answer.
I really want the swf as a header but I was trying in an article thinking it would work the same.
The question is I have inserted a swf in the header and no problem at all. Now the friend who did the animation added an xml to give some special order to the images. So I have clear I need to have swf and xml in the same place, so I upload this files to the images folder ...well, in the past two days I'd been testing how to make it visible and no luck at all. It looks like is there a place holder for shockwave but that's it.
I never used before a file with an attached xml and I'm new in flash or joomla so I'm lost in space.

Not sure about the absolute url...I'm going and check it

THANKS THANKS
