Load imagens to textArea from XML

Hi there, first time posting here, hope somebody can help me.

I'm building a site in wich i have all my content loaded by a xml file, the text loads in a textArea with htmlText, but there is a part of the site that i'll need an image loaded there...i'm trying to load it from the xml with the <img> tag, but it's not working.. If anybody can help me with this I'd be very greatfull!
