FlepStudio has created a new free utility, a Flash CS3 coutndown manageable by an external XML file.
The utility is supported by a server-side script (gettime.php) as to develop a good countdown is necessary to get the time from the server.
This is because if we get time by the user machine (the one that makes the class Date of Actionscript without server side scripting ) not all users would the same time remaining under Zone time of the user.
This countdown allows you to show the same time remaining for any user any area of the world he is.
That's why I get time from the server.
Let me give you an example:
If we want to show the remaining time from now till 31 December 2008.

This is a game in Flash CS3.
Many of you will recall that it was a very popular game ( at least when I was a child ).
In my opinion is still very good as pastime and as coach of memory.
In practice we 4 colored buttons that perform a sequence (increasing one for each level) and simply reproduce the exact sequence
this new form allows the user to send images.
Images will be saved on server and links to view them will be send via email.
It can send a single image, more pictures or any image (in this case would be a function of classical form).

What a CAPTCHA is ?
A CAPTCHA is a type of challenge-response test used in computing to determine that the response is not generated by a computer. The process involves one computer (a server) asking a user to complete a simple test which the computer is able to generate and grade.
Because other computers are unable to solve the CAPTCHA, any user entering a correct solution is presumed to be human. A common type of CAPTCHA requires that the user type the letters of a distorted image, sometimes with the addition of an obscured sequence of letters or digits that appears on the screen.
FlepStudio has created a Flash captcha that can be used in your guestbook or shoutbox.

This is the second version of the NewsScoller.
Useful and smooh to display news, it reads from a simple XML file and is easy to update.
Each text / news is clickable, just enter the 'url desired for each item in the XML file.
Its name is MenuVibration and it's a Flash CS3 vertical menu with a vibration effect every some seconds.
It loads data from external XML file.
Just manage the menu from XML file and the graphics are in library panel so you can easy customize them.

Hi all !
FlepStudio has created a Magnifying Glass effect for Flash CS3.
This class apply a magnifying glass efect to an image ( it must be high resolution).
It loads an external image and creates the effect using DisplacementMapFilter of Actionscript 3.0 .
I created this class in order to allow a very simple use for Actionscript newbies too.

The SWF allows the user to submit its vote and the XML will collect the data.
